Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra
Until Fall 2017, the Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestra will perform concerts at the Taft Theatre, 317 E. Fifth St.
As the nation's fifth oldest symphony orchestra, the CSO has played a leading role in the cultural life of the city and region since its founding in 1895. Concerts are offered September through May at Music Hall, and other offerings include Young People's concerts for school children, Lollipops Family concerts, CSO Chamber Players concerts, free community and regional concerts each summer, and educational programs. The CSO doubles as the Cincinnati Pops, and is also the official orchestra for the May Festival every spring and the Cincinnati Opera during the summer months.
