Planning on living downtown? The Downtown Residents Council (DRC) has been welcoming people just like you into the neighborhood since 1985. DRC serves as a resource for residents of the central business district and Over-the-Rhine, whose members share a love for living downtown and have a vision of a vibrant, 24-hour city. By becoming a member, you can attend monthly meetings where residents hear from City of Cincinnati department heads, other downtown residents, new business owners, downtown arts and civic organizations, the Cincinnati Police and more. As the DRC says "Give your Downtown Residents Council an hour and we will give you the tools to better understand and enjoy your neighborhood."
In addition to the monthly meetings, you will also be invited to the various social activities that help build a sense of community among downtown residents. Your membership also earns you discounts at a number of downtown businesses and events, such as Campanello's Italian Restaurant, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Park + Vine and Nicholson's Tavern & Pub.
