SECOND SUNDAY ON MAIN – MAY 11 Take mom to Main this Sunday, May 11 between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. for a hip, eclectic neighborhood event. Celebrate Mother’s Day by attending the first Second Sunday on Main festival event of the summer. The first 200 moms will receive free flowers and can enjoy live music, a celebrity chef demonstration, and wine tasting, with many more events for the whole family. FOOTBALL AND FASHION FOR MOTHER’S DAY – MAY 11 The Rudy Johnson Foundation is once again celebrating Mother’s Day with football and fashion to benefit the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and to promote bone marrow transplant awareness. The Mother’s Day Luncheon and Fashion Show is on Sunday, May 11 at 2 p.m. at the Westin Hotel. Tickets are $40 in advance, $50 at the door. Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra present "The Magical Music of Disney," featuring classic songs from Disney films spanning over 80 years. Concerts are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and a special Mother’s Day concert on Sunday, at 3 p.m. Moms will be presented with flowers at the Sunday matinee! Also the Lollipop Family concert presentation of Peter and the Wolf that was postponed due to inclement weather on March 8 will be happening this Saturday, May 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Music Hall.
