Saturdays in the City: What to Do in the Queen City on December 21

Dec 20, 2019

The holidays are here! Spend your Saturday getting in the spirit with good food, events, and shopping.

Start your morning off at Rookwood Potter’s Sip + Shop at 10 a.m. It’s the perfect place to do some last-minute holiday shopping while enjoying complimentary drinks. Carolers will even serenade you with some holiday tunes while you find the ideal gifts.

On December 21, you’ll be able to ride the Cincinnati Bell Connector for free! When you’re finished at Rookwood, hop on the Cincinnati Bell Connector at the Brewery District stop (just a block or two from Rookwood) and make your way down to Findlay Market. You can pick up any food, meats, bread and treats for your holiday parties. Surprise your party guests with some gourmet cheese and wine from The Rhined.

Ride the streetcar south to explore Main Street in Over-the-Rhine. You’ll find unique shops, restaurants, and bars. You can even pick up some limited-edition Hanukkah Macarons from the Macaron Bar.

Want to warm up before you venture downtown? Check out Pins Mechanical Company, where you can order a drink and play a few rounds of duckpin bowling – you won’t regret it because it’s fun for all ages.

Grab an early bite to eat at one of the amazing restaurants at The Banks before walking to Fountain SquareDowntown Dazzle will start at 5:30 p.m. See Santa repel off a Cincinnati skyrise and wait with anticipation for the sky to fill with light thanks to a fabulous Rozzi fireworks display.

Still feeling energized? Pop into Igby’s for holiday cocktails and Little Nero’s Pizza during a themed Home Alone Christmas Party. The fun goes until 2:30 a.m.
